Course Description
Live recording of a Catechist Training Seminar during the Year of the Eucharist and Mary. If you missed your local session or simply want to grow deeper in Eucharistic theology, this course is for you!
Example Curriculum
Session #1
This session will focus on the roots of Catholic teaching on the Eucharist specifically in Scripture, including a focus on the Passover in the Book of Exodus, as well as the New Testament.
Session #2
This session will focus on the theological development of our Catholic doctrine on the real presence, especially on the idea of transubstantiation and the ways in which the Church slowly developed the language we use to discuss the Eucharist today.
Resources Needed
Catechists or other students will need a Bible and a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, if available. They can also utilize the handouts to take notes during the sessions.
